I am an art and design lover. I desire to be a polymath (there's still time), but I guess a geek is a better description. I lived in four countries, but now I am mostly a Canadian in Toronto. I have formal education in social sciences and fine arts/design with mixed outcomes. I guess being a 'creative professional' has largely defined my adulthood.
I first designed for print as a kid on a mac using desktop publishing software, then became far more serious in high school in the late 90's with access to the interweb, spending countless hours scouring for examples of great web design and deconstructing how to achieve it. Little did I know at the time that I would continue designing digital products and experiences for the next two decades.
I am fascinated by human relationship with technology, and I am obsessed by where we are headed as a society. As technology helps us turn art and imagination into reality, we are also redefining what it means to be human. I want to be an integral part of this redefinition, and hope to guide it to interesting and positive directions.
